hi om mohan dont get wonder about as i said u can e mail me . its just like that ....! i can make it out frm u r call sign that u badly req to learn MORSE but do not worry i will help u......
do u have a Morse key ...? if yes nothing like that otherwisae u should buy one Also u need to download CWPLAYER In this software use option QUIZ & receive the alphabets at the speed of 18 words , & reply it back on yr morse key also i would advice u to not to receive it below 18 words NOW.. Later on u can reduce to 15 or 12 words , Also reply in the same rythem It is very importent hope u understand , u need more practice to learn MORSE Also while u receive do not think about the alphabets u r receiving just give back on the MORSE KEY
if u will do this u will be master in morse
still hv any prob. pls NOW u can email me (without wondering )
hope u will do it

I second your suggestion. When I wrote my ASOC exam there was no such software, or I don't have a PC to install and train. CWPLAYER is an excellent software. We can listen to any alphabets and numbers at any speed and order. The only thing we need is bit patience to listen the audio till we are able to identify each dit and dash.
Yes, now this post will be more popular and more visitors would like to get informations about the software or other possible ideas about learning morse code. This why I asked you to post your ideas here itself. When somebody search about learning morse code in google, definitely he will get a link to hamradioindia.org, that will bring MORE hit to our great website hamradioindia.org and much more SWLs will be visiting more frequently. When this post closed stating 'email me' is like the reader needs to get in touch with you. But when you share your ideas here, will increase your reputation and HAMs will praise your efforts.
Anyway thank you soo much.

i have cwget and cwtype, two software programmes that is interfaced with my txcvr and my computer and to my experience both of these have performed superbly. you can transmitt from 5 wpm to 50 wpm and no body will ever know that you are on with a computer. you can buffer the messages and at one click transmitt the whole message.
of course this is quite different from the manual sending and receiving of cw in earnest.

your txcvr must have cat port to connect the computer which all modern synthasised rigs have now a days. i havent used the ts520 model, but if it is similar to the ft101e [ yaesu ] the accessories port on the back side must work. you can do a google search on keywords - ts520+cat cable operations - and search the results. if one has to read only the cw signals or rtty/digial modes it is very easy, just see the youtube video attached with all explanations.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmsFhz_dyAg
if you want to monitor install cwget and for rtty/psk31 etc install digipan and follow the method in the youtube video.
best of luck _________________ 73s de VU3MES

Hi Jayesh,
Honestly speaking I don't have any idea about what MORSE is. I request you to give me some brief knowledge about it and what are the benefits of it. If I find it to be useful to me, I will surely prefer to learn it.
Cheers. _________________ batterien |
