The 80 meters net is now conducting everyday at 20.30 hrs on 3636.36 kHz. We are happy to announce that, from March 2010 onwards the 80 meters net will be on every sunday morning at 7.30 hrs, additionally with the normal timing.

Yelagiri is a hill-station on midway between Chennai and Bangalore located at an altitude of 1,050 metres (3,500 ft). Distance : 258 + km from Chennai, 150 km from Bangalore.

The weekly BCDX Net operating on the 40 Meter Amateur Band in South India is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year. This Net was started on Sunday November 27, 1988 by a small group of Amateurs viz. ShanmughasundaramVU 2FOT, Victor Goonetilleke 4S7VK, Jose Jacob VU2JOS and some SWLs.

The 18th Hamfest India event is being conducted in Bengaluru city, Karnataka, on 7 & 8 November 2009. The venue for this gala event is none other than the same place where the biggest Hamfest event in India happened in the year 1998 bringing more than 800 delegates from all over the country.
